Caravan Sales Executive

Hours: 40 hours per week over 5 days, including weekend working
Location: Chesterfield

Robinsons Caravans is a friendly family run business with over 50 years' experience in caravan and camping sales.  We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident sales person to join our Brimington team on a full-time basis.

Duties will include

  • Meeting sales targets of new and used caravans and upselling additional extras, including finance plans
  • Consult with customers promptly in a polite professional manner to understand their needs and maximise sales
  • Work with Sales Managers to maximise profitability
  • Accurate recording of sales paperwork and sales opportunities
  • Plan and prepare input for a daily sales meeting
  • Assist in planning sales campaigns and promotions
  • Maintain new and used caravan displays and pricing boards
  • Ensure all orders and invoices are comprehensive and explained to the customer
  • Appraising part exchanges
  • Ensure all transactions are correct and recorded accurately
  • Operate within the Law at all times
  • Carry out compatibility checks of the customer's car with Tow safe
  • Ensure pre-delivery inspections and or services are carried out in a timely manner

Essential Skills / Knowledge

  • Experience working in a busy sales team and achieving targets
  • Excellent customer service, polite and courteous
  • Confident, enthusiastic and self-motivated
  • Good communication skills
  • Desirable Knowledge
  • Knowledge of caravans and their components
  • Use of Catalyst management software

Caravan Despatch / Handover

Location: Worksop

Robinsons Caravans is a family run business with over 50 years' experience in caravan and camping sales.  We are looking for a friendly, confident person to join us at our Worksop site to work part-time to handover/despatch caravans to our customers

Duties will include

  • Ensuring that each caravan is prepared to our high standards, checked thoroughly in accordance with our handover procedure and made ready for despatch to the customer at the appointed time
  • Demonstrating the caravan and equipment to the customer to ensure that they are fully satisfied, fully aware of its functions and servicing requirements
  • Completing handover paperwork thoroughly and explaining the warranty exclusions, terms and conditions
  • Undertaking other tasks as requested by the sales controller
  • Delivering/collecting caravans between our sites at Chesterfield and Worksop and occasionally to and from customers houses

Skills / Knowledge

  • Ability to drive and tow caravans are essential
  • Well organised and self-motivated
  • Excellent customer service
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of caravans and their components and how they work would be advantageous
  • Polite and friendly
